Breeze, the Dutch dating app that gets singles out on IRL dates, has now launched its services in Berlin. The platform expects to expand into more German cities over the coming weeks, after seeing success in Belgium and the Netherlands since its launch.
The Breeze app was first launched in early 2020 in the Netherlands. The platform recommends a handful of potential love interests to users twice a day, and then helps to organise a date for new matches.
Breeze partners with venues in over 20 cities to provide safe locations for matches to meet on their first date. For 9 euros, Breeze will organise the meetup based on each person’s schedule, even providing the first drink as part of the package. So far, it has organised over 130,000 dates.
In anticipation of this launch in Berlin, Marco van der Woude, Breeze’s Co-Founder and Head of Business Development, shared that “the app is translated, our marketing material is ready, and we have partners to host our dates”, in a recent LinkedIn post.
The expansion to the German capital will see Breeze launch in its biggest market yet, van der Woude added.
