Anuradha B. Subramanian, Chief Financial Officer of Bumble Inc, has joined the board of directors of The New York Times Company.
“I am pleased to welcome Anu to our board. She brings two decades of experience in key financial roles at a variety of public consumer and media companies”, said A.G. Sulzberger, chairman of The New York Times Company.
“Her vast experience will be invaluable as we pursue our global ambitions to become the essential subscription for every curious English-speaking person seeking to understand and engage with the world”, Sulzberger explained.
The New York Times is an internationally respected news outlet, with more than 10 million subscribers across its products.
Subramanian is not the only tech executive to sit on the New York Times Company board. She is joined by Amanpal S. Bhutani, the CEO of GoDaddy Inc; Manuel Bronstein, the CPO of Roblox Corporation; and Rebecca Van Dyck, the former COO for Reality Labs at Meta.
Before taking up her role at Bumble Inc, Subramanian held finance-focused leadership positions at Univision Communications, VICE Media, and Scripps Networks Interactive.
