Stir, the dating app for single parents, has partnered with Therabody, the creators of the popular Theragun percussive massage device. To celebrate Single Parents Day, the Match Group dating app has launched a new initiative to cure their back pain, including a new in-app feature which turns their phone into a massage device.
Studies show that single parents are much more likely to suffer from back pain and back injuries in comparison with parents in relationships. In recognition of the America’s National Single Parent Day, dating app Stir has launched a new partnership.
Collaborating with wellness company Therabody, Stir is providing its users with a 20% discount on the Theragun Sense device between March 21 to April 4. Furthermore, it has launched a new in-app mode which turns the user’s phone into a massage device.
“This Single Parents Day, we want to help our community get back out there. As many parents know, it’s hard to feel your best self when your back is hurting ,” said Jennifer Spector, VP of Brand at Stir.
“Single Parents are doing double duty by taking on the full load of lifting kids, folding strollers, carrying armfuls of toys, and many other tasks that can really take a toll. This partnership with Therabody is paving the way for less pain and more pleasure. Stir has your back (no matter how you throw it out!)”, Spector added.
The platform also shared insights from viral chiropractor Dr. Alex VanDerschelden, as he shares instructions for daily stretches to cure the back pains that single parents may be feeling.
“The workout called parenting can take a toll on the body; doubly so for single parents,” said John Solomon, CMO of Therabody, Inc. “We’re glad to be able to offer The Stir members some great ways to relieve back pain, improve circulation and ease soreness with Theragun Sense.”
