Feeld, the platform originally launched in 2014 as “3nder,” has evolved far beyond its original goals of simply being a threesome app. Now known as one of the most widespread and accessible apps for people with unconventional relationship needs or important kink requirements in prospective partners, the app has been seeing massive success among both kinky and vanilla users.
With a user base that grew by 107% between 2022 and 2023, Feeld plans to build on this momentum. The app’s upcoming developments will prioritize creating more authentic experiences, both online and offline – primarily by taking user feedback into account. A large part of this will be addressing digital fatigue, particularly among its rapidly growing Gen Z demographic.
To counter the isolating nature of online spaces, the platform plans to expand its in-person social events. These gatherings – designed as inclusive spaces for connections between users, free from the judgment that they might get at regular dating events for being in an “unconventional” relationship – are a key part of Feeld’s strategy.
Another highlight of Feeld’s future plans is the continued development of AFM (A Feeld Magazine/A F***ing Magazine), a print publication launched last year. While some initially met the idea with skepticism, AFM has been successful enough to see further issues, and the platform likely plans to expand the range of content within the magazine itself – namely by looking for member contributions and exploring a broader variety of topics about relationships, identity and sexuality.
Feeld’s core drive has always been allowing users to explore their identities without having to commit to a long-term goal or a specific kind of relationship search, and that’s part of why its popularity has persisted to this day. Now that we’re firmly in 2025, it’ll be interesting to see where Feeld decides to expand its focus next.
