Gushcloud International, a global entertainment company based in Singapore serving many different countries, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Tinder. This initiative will introduce a unique employee benefit across its Southeast Asia offices.
This initiative will offer Gushcloud employees company-sponsored Tinder subscriptions and an additional paid day off, aptly named “Tinder Leave”. This aims to help them foster new connections or improve their social lives, and lets them take time off to pursue those connections.
Gushcloud, which manages a network of over 10,000 influencers, is committed to nurturing a creative and supportive work environment. This latest perk aligns with their focus on employee wellbeing, recognizing the importance of a healthy social life outside of the workplace.
Group CEO and Co-Founder of Gushcloud, Althea Lim, says that the new employee perk is a way to “take care of (their) employees in their relationship goals, whether that’s meeting new people, making new friends or finding a life partner.”
A Tinder spokesperson stated that “healthy personal relationships is an increasingly important priority for this modern generation of workers”, and that “employers need to start investing in benefits and initiatives that address employees’ social and personal lives.”
Gushcloud is one of the first companies to make this kind of partnership, with the initiative launching earlier this August. So far, this initiative is available in Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
