Playdate, the dating platform for single parents, has released an updated app design which creates a smoother onboarding process. The platform worked with UI/UX firm Lumi to enable more efficient user registration, while maintaining its verification measures.
Playdate has released the latest version of its app, which includes a more modern look for its onboarding sections. The update is “making the sign up to the app smoother, quicker, and more engaging”, the platform shared.
While aiming to “make the sign up process as painless and less tedious as possible” with this update, Playdate ensured that its mandatory identity verification system remained in place.
The update was done in collaboration with Lumi, which helps provide product strategy, product design, and development, for startups.
‘Working with the team at Lumi was a real pleasure, they instantly identified and addressed where the main pain points were in our onboarding flow, but still managed to stay true to our brand and what we stand for, which was extremely important for me”, shared Playdate’s Founder Nevine Coutry.
Playdate is a dating platform that helps connect single parents. It was recently named among the top 100 disruptive startups in the UK, and appointed a former Product Manager from Bumble as an Advisor to its Board.
“We are delighted to be able to collaborate with Playdate and pour our startup experience into such an impactful product”, said Milosz Falinski, Founder at Lumi.
“From the beginning we fell in love with the problem of connecting single parents to form meaningful relationships, knowing that these connections help build healthy families and have a big ripple effect on the world. We started Lumi to work on problems like this and can’t wait to collaborate with the Playdate team again!”, he continued.
