Tinder has shared its first-ever ad made specifically for UK audiences. The video focuses on addressing loneliness when moving to a new city and creating relationships of all kinds.
The 1 minute 20 seconds clip is part of Tinder’s broader It Starts With A Swipe campaign, but has been created specifically for UK audiences over the winter holidays, reports Creative Review.
The narrative focuses on a young woman who’s just moved to London, who now feels out of place and alone. She decides to use Tinder, and consequently meets many new people, of whom some become friends and some become more.
In the lead up to Dating Sunday, Tinder also released 4 new ads which focused on unique milestones in romantic relationships.
However, this UK-focused video highlights that the platform can be the start of many different types of relationships. Rather than portraying someone who’s unlucky in love, it emphasises that Tinder can help those who have moved to a new city and want a new social circle.
