A dating app creator has claimed AI can help “resolve relationship challenges” following the recent launch of the new platform.
YouMatch founder Stan Kos explained the benefits of using AI to improve rocky relationships in a recently published research guide.
YouMatch recently celebrated the launch of its AI-powered dating platform last month, which uses facial decoding technology to analyse and match users based on personality and psychological compatibility.
International psychologist and couple therapist Tatiana Persico, who has over 20 years experience, was consulted to provide foundational scientific basis to this qualitative research.
The evaluation noted that it can collect data from the messages to analyse patterns in a couple arguments. The analysis includes assessing the communication style, identifying recurring triggers, plus suggesting strategies to approach and solve conflicts sensitively.
Mr Kos stated reduced quality and quantity of communication usually lead to emotional distance between partners.
To combat that issue, he suggested AI can analyse the text or voice messages and give insight into how each person feels as well as highlight the positive and low moments in conversations.
It can reportedly also recommend activities and conversation topics that “promote emotional closeness and intimacy”.
Other findings include monitoring behavioural patterns to highlight changes that may indicate trust issues and “rekindle the spark” through personalized date ideas, romantic gestures reminders, or advice on improving physical closeness.
He said: “With the help of AI, couples can gain valuable insights into their dynamics and receive personalized recommendations to strengthen their relationships.
“Whether it’s improving communication, restoring trust, aligning goals, or rekindling intimacy, AI helps develop a system and strategy for resolving relationship challenges.
“Use new technologies and take proactive steps to ensure your relationship not only survives but grows stronger and more harmonious every year.”
