Knot.Dating Expands to Five New International Markets

    [ad_1]

Indian matrimony platform Knot.dating has announced its expansion into five international markets – the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Australia – as it seeks to serve Indians abroad who are looking for marriage-focused platforms rather than casual dating apps.

Founded in India and known for challenging conventional approaches to matchmaking, Knot.dating differentiates itself from standard dating services by focusing exclusively on marriage. The platform requires users to undergo strict verification, including checks on income, identification, and background. It also incorporates AI-powered conversation flows designed to safeguard user privacy while encouraging meaningful exchanges.

“We started with a simple promise: Knot is not a dating app. It’s for those serious about marriage. Taking Knot global is the natural next step – because whether you’re in Gurgaon, New Jersey, or Dubai, the challenges are the same. The diaspora wants trust, not swipes,” said Jasveer Singh, cofounder and CEO of Knot.dating, in the expansion announcement.

The global Indian diaspora – estimated at more than 32 million people according to India’s Ministry of External Affairs – represents a significant user base for such services. In countries with large Indian populations such as the U.S., U.K. and UAE, matrimonial services remain a cultural mainstay. By focusing on high-intent matchmaking and verified profiles, Knot.dating aims to distinguish itself from both traditional matrimony portals and mainstream dating apps like Tinder or Bumble.
