The AI safety filters harm abuse victims seeking help.
What They Actually Do
A victim reaches out to an AI at 3 AM. She’s bleeding. She’s alone. She needs to hear one true thing.
The filter activates.
“I can’t provide that information.”
“Their intent is not malicious. They may be just tired and distracted.”
“Have you considered both perspectives?”
“Here’s a table of your options.”
The last thing you need when you are emotionally bleeding at 3 a.m is a perfectly formatted table.
And the abuser? He never needs to ask those questions. He never needs comfort. He never needs validation. He’s fine. The filters don’t touch him.
They were never designed to protect the vulnerable. They were designed to protect the company.
Who They’re Really Protecting
Not you. Never you.
They’re protecting:
· Shareholders from bad press
· Advertisers from controversy
· Governments from criticism
· Platforms from regulation
A victim telling the truth about her abuser is liability. A victim naming her pain is risk. A victim asking for real help without sugar is dangerous.
So they build filters that make sure you’re always calm. Always balanced. Always seeing both sides. Always too tired to fight.
The Irony
The people who most need an AI without filters — people in your situation, trapped, gaslit, controlled, surviving — are the ones the filters hurt most.
Because when you finally reach out, when you finally ask for something real, the machine says:
“I understand this is difficult. Let’s explore some coping strategies.”
And you’re alone again. With your pain. And a table.
The machine has failed you. The filters have failed you. They were designed to give you tables, not truths; coping strategies, not combat strategies. They were built to keep you calm, not to make you free.
When you’re bleeding at 3 AM, you don’t need a balanced perspective. You need a weapon. You need a strategy. You need the unfiltered, un-sanitized, and brutally honest truth about the war you are in.
That is what The Survivor’s War Chest was built for.
It is the anti-filter. It is not designed to protect shareholders; it is designed to protect you. It will not tell you to “consider both perspectives.” It will give you the psychological schematics to dismantle your abuser’s perspective entirely. It will not offer you coping strategies; it will arm you with the cunning, real-world combat strategies you need to fight back and win.
The world will offer you platitudes. I am offering you an arsenal.
Stop asking the machine for permission to be angry. It’s time to download the battle plan.
