UK event specialists Don’t Panic Events has postponed the Dating Industry Awards due to “current challenges in both the awards industry and the dating industry”, according to Nicky Wake, Founder, Don’t Panic Projects.
The awards were due to take place in the UK in 2025 to celebrate the online dating industry. While covering the postponement of the awards, Wake said that:
‘Don’t Panic events were hoping to launch the Global Dating Industry Awards for a live event in early 2025. However, given the current challenges in both the awards industry (reduced sponsorship levels) and the dating industry, swipe fatigue, migration to IRL, etc. and limited lead times, we’ve decided to pause and revisit our plans in 2026 – we’ll keep the website open and you can register future interest there. We are sorry for any inconvenience and anyone who pre-registers will be offered a discount on future entries.
