Yuzu, a social and dating app for the Asian community, has officially launched on the iOS and Google Play store in the U.S. This is the latest Match Group platform to focus on a specific demographic, joining the likes of BLK, Chispa, Upward, and more.
New platform Yuzu will provide an opportunity for Asians in the United States to find friends, romantic partners, and further develop their community, based around common values and culture. But the platform also welcomes users of all backgrounds and races as well.
“The best connections happen when you can be unapologetic and fully embrace all sides of being Asian,” said Cindy Lim, Head of Brand at Yuzu.
“Being Asian is a world of traditions, intermingled with modern lifestyle. Through Yuzu, we really hope to empower the Asian community and make connecting through culture as fun as it is fulfilling. Welcome to Yuzu, the social playground that binds culture, community, and connection”, Lim added.

The platform comes with social and dating modes, which can be easily switched between depending on the user’s intentions. Among Yuzu’s core features are in-app messaging, unique profile personalisation options, community pages, and more.

In recent years, Match Group has released a number of platforms which focus on specific demographics, including BLK for Black Americans, Chispa for the Latinx community, and Upward for Christian singles.
