Some heartbreaks don’t shatter you…
They rearrange you.
And that’s exactly what happened to me.
Two years ago, I met someone who felt like a quiet miracle.
Not dramatic. Not loud.
Just soft… kind… consistent.
We weren’t dating. We didn’t even label anything.
But we talked every day.
We shared secrets we didn’t plan to share.
We laughed at stupid things.
We held silence comfortably.
And little by little, I started feeling something deeper.
But I never told her.
Not because I didn’t care.
But because I cared too much and didn’t want to ruin what we had.
So I stayed in that “safe zone”—giving affection silently, hoping she would just know.
Until one day… she told me she was seeing someone.
I laughed.
I congratulated her.
I told her she deserves happiness.
And when she left, I sat quietly on my bed feeling something tear.
That day, I learned one of the hardest truths:
“UNSPOKEN LOVE IS STILL SILENCE.”
She wasn’t wicked.
She wasn’t blind.
I was simply quiet in a world where love needs clarity.
The worst part was not losing her…
It was realizing I never even entered the race.
