Tinder has launched a new local brand campaign in Korea, focusing on the uniqueness and self-expression of Gen Z. The new set of videos also feature a message from actress Jeon Jong-seo, and stories from real Tinder users.

Tinder Korea has released 4 new campaign videos for the Korean market (see below). These brand videos cover a range of intentions (romance, friendship, etc), and highlights real-life stories from Tinder users.

These include narratives about a shy ‘meet-cute’ at a cafe, the importance of authentic self-expression, and finding friends in unexpected ways.

In the above video, Jeon Jong-seo (currently starring in Korean Rom-com ‘Wedding Impossible’), highlights why it’s important to show your true self.

The new videos come as part of the continuing campaign ‘There’s no wrong choice, Tinder.’, which highlights that users can find whatever they’re looking for on the platform, celebrating a diverse range of intentions and choices.

“Tinder’s latest brand campaign in Korea celebrates this generation’s self-expression and authenticity,” explained  Daniel Kim, VP of Marketing, Asia at Tinder.

“At Tinder, we are passionate about creating a space where every individual can showcase their true selves fearlessly, knowing that they’re embraced and celebrated just as they are. With this new local campaign, we’re proud to champion authenticity as the cornerstone of meaningful relationships”, he added.

This campaign follows a similar initiative launched in Japan in September 2023, where TInder highlighted trends among Gen Z in the country, including self-care and acceptance.

These new videos and campaign will run in Korea through til April 30, available on Tinder’s official channels for Korea, including for in-app users, and on their YouTube & Instagram.
