If during the detachment period, they stalk their ex, talk to their ex, or make other breakup mistakes, they develop obsessive patterns that disrupt their healing and prevent them from letting go.
The more they hold on to hope, the harder it becomes for them to stop analyzing the breakup and their ex’s behavior.

- How good your self-esteem is.
