Hello Everyone
Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.
Today, I am going to talk about an important topic: Muslim relationships.
Relationships are not only between a husband and wife.
They exist between:
- siblings
- parents and children
- relatives
- friends
- neighbors
Islam teaches relationships at every level of life.
Today, I will explain in detail why Muslim relationships are long-term and why they last.
The Beginning of a Muslim’s Life
First of all, when a child is born into a Muslim family, the Azan is recited into their ears, and the name of Allah is mentioned. This is where their journey begins.
From the very first moment, their life is connected to faith.
Early Training and Moral Education
When the child grows and starts school or college, they are given special moral training.
Parents teach them:
- never hurt anyone’s feelings
- share your food and belongings
- help others
Sharing does not only mean food or drinks — it means sharing everything: care, kindness, time, and support.
This is how relationships are formed between classmates and friends.
Love and Attachment in Islam
As the child grows older, they may start liking someone.
In Islam, liking someone does not mean staying in a relationship for years or becoming physically involved before marriage.
There is no physical relationship before marriage.
Everything physical happens after marriage, and that is when love grows deeper.
Psychology also says that when a person becomes constantly attached to someone, the attachment can slowly weaken. But when that person is distant, you start realizing their value, their feelings, and how important they are in your life.
This is where Muslim values directly come into play.
Life According to the Teachings of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
Muslims begin every part of their lives according to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
They try to follow his guidance in relationships, family life, and personal conduct.
Marriage in Islam
Now let’s talk about marriage.
When a Muslim marriage takes place, the husband gives Mahr (Haqq Mehr) to his wife.
Mahr means the wife’s right.
It can be:
- gold
- money
- or anything agreed upon
This gift belongs only to the bride. No one else has any right over it.
This is how marriage begins in Islam — with respect, responsibility, and security.
Emotional Growth After Marriage
As time passes, emotional attachment between husband and wife grows stronger.
They build love, understanding, and trust.
When children are born, love does not decrease — it increases even more.
This relationship continues to grow throughout life.
After Loss and Faith
When a husband or wife passes away, the pain is very deep and disturbing.
However, Muslims keep their relationship strong with God.
They believe in one powerful force — Allah.
Faith becomes their strength.
The true power of Muslims lies in their belief — a belief deeply rooted in their hearts.
